I Salman Ahmed on behalf of our NGO "Fikr Foundation" would like to share the work which Almighty Allah has consistently taken from our NGO since last 10 years, Irrespective of Cast, Creed, Gender, region and Religion....
1) Alhamdulillah many Academically students have completed their studies of Graduation and many of them are still pursuing studies which includes Medical, Engineering, Technical, Vocational, skill development courses and Commerce streams etc.
2) School students of Different mediums and languages are also supported by us.
3) We serve in maximum Humanitarian sectors as and when needed by the grace of Almighty..Be it Health, Social , Economical (Including High Interest Loan Debts) and different Basic sectors of Human need..
4) Also maximum of our time and FIKR is spent in Motivating, Confidence building, Counselling and Helping people to identify, select & take the right Course and Solutions in their different problems.
Allah make us do the above causes with Moral and Financial support of our Well wishers to whom we are always Accountable ...
A lot to mention ,but the intention here is to just make our all time well wishers and friends aware about their very important share of Guidance and support, to which we humbly look forward always, as now with time People's expectations with us has increased multifold in all respects...

The organizational skills of the Fikr Foundation proved very useful during the lockdown following the outbreak of Covid

Nagpur: Nagpur, the winter capital of Maharashtra, has been a traditional and fertile hub for voluntary organizations and social workers. It has been home to a number of activists whose social chromosomes have inspired them to undertake humanitarian work for their fellow brethren. The result is a confluence of so many rivulets of social activism which have merged into a vibrant social movement .This is one reason why several reformist crusades had their birth in the region.
A member of this social corps who has carved a space for himself through his committed service to the community’s underprivileged is Salman Ahmed. His social vehicle, Fikr Foundation, which he founded in 2011, has been supporting wide ranging causes both at the individual and community level. His sister-in-law Dr Saba Ahmed is a pediatrician and manages the organization’s periodical health camps for children.
Relief and rehabilitation are the key activities of the organization. There are several slum pockets in Nagpur where rains are a regular h
Fikr Foundation also supports widows and orphans and provides aid for marriages of girls from indigent families. The organization’s support is in the form of transfer of relief amounts to the accounts of beneficiaries. Funding for the charity is mobilized through voluntary donations from family and friends.
The organizational skills of the Fikr Foundation proved very useful during the lockdown following the outbreak of Covid-19. Foodgrains and other essential items had to be mobilized and then distributed to low income families whose livelihoods wee suddenly uprooted
azard. Salman has developed a strategy over the years for rehabilitating the displaced population. House repair and medical expenses are two areas which consume a fair portion of the organization’s charity resource.

His sister-in-law, a pediatrician by profession and Vice president of Fikr Foundation, Dr Saba Ahmed is an important part of the Foundation. She manages the organization’s periodical health related services for children and elderly and mobilization of essential resources. Salman draws inspiration from his parents and uncles.
Fikr’s vision is to primarily strive for national development and social harmony through permanent solutions to enable the underprivileged to overcome challenges faced in the fields of Education, Health, livelihhod and employment .Education, Relief, Rehabilitation and Solution based Guidance for individual land community problems are prime objectives of the organization.
